Wilmslow (u14) - 47 - 21 - Marple (u14)

Marple travelled for an early kick-off on against last season's bogey team Wilmslow.

Marple produced a slightly lacklustre first half in which they felt that they could have done better, but allowed Wilmslow to race into a 35-7 lead. Despite this, good character was shown to produce a more coherent second half display to get back in touching distance at 35-21, only for a couple of defensive lapses to allow Wilmslow to make the game safe.
Tries from Niall, Tyler and Felix were all converted by Isaac B in a relatively solid attacking display, but Marple will need to improve defensively when welcoming Macclesfield to Wood Lane next week.
