As a club we are delighted to hear our Minis & Juniors Chairwoman Tanya Bennett has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in the Queens 2020 Birthday Honors list for Voluntary Services to Young People in the North West.

Those who know Tanya know she is a very busy person and we are lucky to have to at the club, as well as the rugby club Tanya is Commissioner at the Goyt Division Girlguides and senior Gymnastics Coach at Spartac Gymnastics club.

Despite her other commitments you will regularly see Tanya at Wood Lane on Sunday mornings coordinating training sessions across out M&Js section and occasionally doing a bit of coaching herself with the under 12s, as well as all the behind the scenes work most people don't get to see.
